What you can do
On June 26, the Berkeley City Council will decide whether to approve the Middle Housing plan. This is the biggest change to zoning in our city in decades, and yet most of us have no idea what's being proposed and how drastically it will affect our city!
Attend the BNC Town Hall on June 12 6:30-8:30 PM: Berkeley Neighborhoods Council is holding a town hall about the Middle Housing Ordinance at the Ed Roberts Campus 3075 Adeline St. 94703 (easy access from Ashby BART).
Attend the Berkeley City Council Meeting on June 26 at 6:00pm. The City Manager and the Zoning Board have recommended that that the Middle Housing Ordinance be approved. Urge the Mayor and City Council to not approve the Ordinance at this time.
The location of the meeting is not yet available, but will be included in the agenda posted online.Email the Mayor and Council (Please personalize the email if desired)
